Our client is one of the leading and rapidly expanding companies in Greece, which operates in the medical wholesale sector and is seeking to appoint a Junior Buyer based in Athens (Northern Suburbs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicates with suppliers from abroad
- Assists in the conduction of the market analysis
- Reviews purchasing agreements with vendors
- Develops an active process for measuring supply inventory and determines purchasing needs based annual numbers
- Stays up to date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
- 1+ years’ experience in a purchasing role
- English fluency
- Computer use competency
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated and driven
- Driving license owner
